We all know that it’s fun to try out new flavours. At the same time, though, we like to rely on familiar products that we know and value. This balance between curiosity and reliability also runs through our product philosophy. That is why we continue to develop our range with care. We monitor changes closely, listen to our customers and proactively adapt to them.
As a result, we have become more specialised in recent years. Instead of 150 products, we now offer a smaller but clearly defined selection of boiled sausage and cooked ham. Our two Thuringian sites each produce one of the product groups to perfection. Naturally with the same high quality and as much love for freshness as ever.

Cooked ham
from Arnstadt
We produce our first-class cooked ham in Arnstadt – from the classic ham shoulder to wafer-thin cold cuts for the chiller cabinet. Careful selection, mild curing and gentle cooking result in ham specialities with a full flavour and tender consistency. The classics include our Delikatess Hinterkochschinken and Gourmet Metzgerschinken hams, both of which have outstanding juicy flavour and fine seasoning. For those who like it particularly classy, Prosciutto Cotto is a ham delicacy inspired by the Mediterranean. Sliced wafer-thin, it tastes particularly intense, wonderfully soft and completely delicious.

Boiled sausage

We produce our popular boiled sausage specialities in Barchfeld – from savoury sausages to fine fresh sausage cold cuts for the self-service shelf. Our classics such as the Rheinish ham sausage, the spicy Jagdwurst hunter’s-style sausage and the fine Lyoner satisfy the desire for traditional flavours, while tender poultry variations offer a lighter alternative. The hallmarks of all our varieties are carefully formulated recipes, mild seasoning and a pleasantly juicy consistency. The high meat content and fine spices, which we add in carefully balanced proportions, ensure a full-bodied flavour.
Our boiled sausage specialities are available in pieces and as practical cold cuts – and can therefore be used in a variety of ways.
